SHE'S ALIVE?! [26 Mar 2009|06:05pm]

[ mood | exhausted ]

Yes, yes I am. Sorry for the terribly long hiatus! But I'm back. I moved into a new house, and I didn't have internet, so imagine the dilemma there. But I'm back now! And I'd like to announce that nicefinalbeam is now a full-fledged moderator. :o)

Hope everyone is doing well! I'll be taking the next couple of weeks to catch-up on applications. Sorry once again for neglecting this community for so long! No hard feelings, I hope. Take care. ♥

MY APOLOGIES. [22 Aug 2008|11:53am]

Hello everyone -
I must seem like a broken record, what with my endless broken promises to vote on and stamp people. O_o I have no excuse to give. The best answer I have is that I've been terribly busy with work and personal business, but I understand my obligations as a mod, thus I ask all of you who are still waiting on votes/stamps to be lenient and allow me some time to go through the community and read through applications.

I hate neglecting this community, because while it is just a community, a lot of people put in the effort to fill out an application... so rest assured, I haven't forgotten about things. I've just been on hiatus.

Summer is a busy time for me, but it's winding down, so I'll have more time to dedicate to the community. I hate giving excuses, but there it is in black and white.

I hope everyone is well. Take care.

Tricia, your mod.

GREETINGS. [11 Jul 2008|08:22am]

[ mood | tired ]

Hello everyone!
Just a couple quick reminders...

1. We have two new members; melarmony and orsinoslady. If you all could be so kind as to welcome them to the community via voting on their applications, that'd be great.

2. Sarah/warning_dca still needs some votes before I can properly stamp her. The votes are close, therefore I'd appreciate if some of you could help me out in that department.

Thank you.

A BIT-O-FUN. [27 Jun 2008|11:44pm]

[ mood | blah ]

I snagged this meme from a friend of mine; I found it interesting. Plus, I'm a sucker for these things, so - I thought I'd post mine here, letting anyone have at it. Enjoy!

The Big Read reckons that the average adult has only read 6 of the top 100 books they've printed.

1) Look at the list and bold those you have read.
2) Italicize those you intend to read.
3) Underline the books you LOVE.
4) Reprint this list in your own LJ so we can try and track down these people who've read 6 and force books upon them ;-)

Really, who am I? [20 Jun 2008|10:44am]

I am asking to be restamped because I feel that I've changed a lot in the past year and being stamped as Emma never really suited me, I don't feel.

GREETINGS. [17 Jun 2008|02:07pm]

[ mood | sick ]

Hello, everyone!

You all will (hopefully) be pleased to know that all of the "Who is my hero?" applications have been stamped. If I happened to miss anyone, please let me know. I finally found time to sit down and organize the community. So FHEW.

Here is the revised list of both HEROINE and HERO stampees. Enjoy! Sorry it took forever and TWO YEARS to get everything in order. Better late than never, right? ... heh. Or something.

Anyway, I hope all of you are doing well! Take care. ♥

GREETINGS FROM YOUR MOD. [10 Jun 2008|08:32am]

[ mood | busy ]

Hello everyone -
Just a quick note...

I'll be attempting to make a list of the people who have received their heroes so as to tidy up the community a bit.

Also, we have some new applicants, so if you'd all be so kind, please show them the courtesy of reading over their applications and voting for them accordingly.

Thank you,

lost forever...
